Inworld Map does not use cookies
None at all: no session cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party cookies. That’s why there is no cookie banner.
What is stored in your browser
Only one thing, and only if you use the light/dark switch at the top of the page:

To remove it, clear the site data for Inworld Map in your browser settings, or simply switch the theme back.
Images from Linden Lab
Map tiles and parcel snapshots load directly from Linden Lab’s servers (secondlife-maps-cdn.akamaized.net and picture-service.secondlife.com). These requests don’t set cookies today. Those servers are run by Linden Lab, though, so that is up to them; see Linden Lab’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. We keep its cookie-setting features (bot management, analytics) turned off, so normal visits get no cookies from Cloudflare either. Only if Cloudflare ever shows a security check (“verify you are human”) may it set a strictly necessary cookie, cf_clearance, to remember that you passed it.
The API
The API doesn’t use cookies or keys either. Rate limiting is based on IP address, kept in memory for up to one minute.
